Process of claiming subsidy & adjustment
Term of the Loan:
The term of the Loan can be up to 30 yrs as per the respective norms currently offered by the Banks.
Maximum Loan amount
This is dependent upon the repayment capacity of the customer, but the subsidy will be capped upto a maximum on Rs 6 lacs
Cost of the property:
There is no restriction on the cost, but the other criteria mentioned need to be fulfilled.
The Area of the Property
Carpet Area* should not exceed 60 sqm (carpet)
LIG category & 30 sqm for EWS category(carpet)
Family Income (i.e. appraised income for the file)
This scheme is ONLY applicable for customers, who are buying their first property.
For Economically Weaker Section (EWS category)-Rs 300000 per annum & carpet area should not exceed 30 sqm
For Lower Income Group (LIG category)-Rs 300001-600000 per annum & carpet area should not exceed 60 sqm
The undertaking from eligible customers will be taken as per the norms of the Central Government.
For availing this scheme the Women has to be included as a Owner of the Property, this is a Mandatory Clause.
